The State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg has one of the most comprehensive collections in the world.

Pretty much everywhere:) Russians love museums, so any city you go to will have at least a few. I suggest visiting Moscow-- the Pushkin Art Museum and the Tretyakov Gallery are the biggest ones if you're only there for a short time.
