1) Hanoi, the capital. This city is smaller than Ho Chi Minh City, but it is beautiful. There are many lakes around the city. You need to go to Hoan Kiem lake; that lake is right in the city and there's everything there. There's a shopping plaza, Pho 24 (a vietnamese noodle soup place), Intimex (grocery store), Ciao! (ice cream place), etc. Hanoi is described as European like, and I personally think it is unique because it wasn't influenced by the western too much. You have a choice of staying in nice 4 or 5 star hotels like Hotel Nikko or staying in a mini hotel for as less $15 a night. You will meet tons of tourists in Hanoi; they are all over the place... and most of them stay in the mini hotels.. they are backpacking through Vietnam. Food is a ton in this city. There is sooooo much to eat!! Beer is really common here as well as throughout Vietnam.. cheap beer can run from 2000 dong to 4000 dong (which is about 25 cent or so for a glass cup..)

2) Ho Chi Minh City: this city is much bigger than Hanoi. It is very fun over there, too. The night life can go past 12 AM. There are tons of shopping areas, food, etc. But, it is much more city like. Hanoi is a little cute city..

3) Ha Long: This is a place where you can see natural settings. It is breathtaking here; if you want to be at a peaceful and quiet area, this is the place for you. It is scenic and beautiful. If you like noise, tons of shopping, and people, then Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh is for you.

4) Da Nang: This place has been growing so much every year. This place has many beautiful beaches, and it is a tourist site..

5) Hoi An: This place is small, but it has beautiful beaches; it is growing into a tourist site.

Most people go to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, or Ha Long...

you wil definitely have fun in vietnam- enjoy!

a million. London for the historic previous, Buckingham Palace, the properties of Parliament, the friendly museums on earth and huge artwork galleries. 2. Barcelona for the unique Gaudi systems, especially the unfinished Sagrada Familia Cathedral. 3. Rome. The Vatican - an visitors with the Pope (alongside with a pair of thousand distinctive persons - each Wednesday) was large, as was the Vatican Museum and St Peter's. And as quickly as greater, the historic previous - the Pantheon, the Roman ruins interior the Palatino & the talk board, the Colloseum, the mosaics, Villa Boghese plus the Trevi Fountain and the distinctive churches and cathedrals. 4. Athens. only to look the Parthenon and the Acropolis, despite the fact that the national Museum and the old Greek ruins dotted around the city are easily worth traveling. Sitting in a taverna having a leisurely lunch is a might desire to. 5. Vienna, Paris, Budapest and Prague. historic palaces, beautiful gardens, castles, superb artwork galleries/museums, cathedrals, proficient musicians...i'm no longer able to circulate with. And in all the above - the foodstuff is greater often than not large. and confident, i've got been to all of them.

Hi,

Here are the beauty landscapes in Vietnam:

-- First, Hue city. The city is located in central Vietnam on the banks of the Sông Hương (Hương River), just a few miles inland from the South China Sea. It is about 540 km (335 mi.) south of the national capital of Hanoi and about 644 km (400 mi.) north of Hồ Chí Minh City, the country's largest city formerly known as Saigon.

On the north side of the river is the Citadel, the centre of the historic city. Most of Huế's important monuments, temples, and pagodas are found in this area. The south side of the river is newer, and contains most of the city's business and residential areas.

Huế's most outstanding attractions are the royal citadel, an imperial city and the emperor's tombs.

Huế's complex of monuments is listed among the UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.

Huế is a very tranquil and marvellous city in the central part of Vietnam. There are many famous people who were born in Huế or had spent some time in this beautiful city. The city is one of the most popular places for tourists in Vietnam.

-- Second, Hoi An (Quang Nam province). Hội An is still a small city, but it attracts a fair number of tourists, also being a well established place on the backpacker trail. Many visit for the numerous art and craft shops and tailors, who produce made-to-measure clothes for a fraction of the western price. Several Internet cafés, bars and restaurants have opened along the riverfront. Some popular evening venues, especially with Western visitors, are Tam Tam's restaurant and bar, the Before and Now bar on Le Loi and the Mango restaurant.

-- Third, Sai Gon (Ho Chi Minh city now). The city center is situated on the banks of the Saigon River, 60 kilometers (37 mi) from the South China Sea [1] and 1,760 kilometers (1,094 mi) south of Hanoi capital.

The metropolitan area which consists of Ho Chi Minh city metro area, Thu Dau Mot and surrounding towns has more than 9 million people,[citation needed] making it the largest metropolitan area in Vietnam and Indochina.

-- Fourth, Ha Long bay. Hạ Long is a capital city of Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam. The city mainly lies on Bai Tu Long Bay, which is part of the Ha Long Bay. It is located at about 160km northeast of Hanoi. Area: 208.7 sq. km. Population (2001): 185,228 inhabitants.

Halong City consists of 20 wards and communes: Hà Khánh, Hà Lầm, Hà Trung, Hà Phong, Hà Tu, Hồng Hải, Cao Thắng, Cao Xanh, Yết Kiêu, Trần Hưng Ðạo, Bạch Ðằng, Hòn Gai, Bãi Cháy, Hồng Hà, Hà Khẩu, Giếng Ðáy; Communes: Hùng Thắng, Tuần Châu, Việt Hưng, Ðại Yên.

The city's economy has recently switched from coal mining to tourism, due to the large amount of visitors drew by the famous Ha Long Islets every year. At present, Halong is experiencing rapid growth not only in tourism sphere, but as a place upon the main road to southern China. In 2007 Vietnam-China Business Forum, a $400 million deal was signed to build a highway linking Halong, Mong Cai and Quang Ninh.[1]

Halong city is divided into two parts: East Ha Long and West Ha Long. The eastern part ("Hon Gay"), where most of the official buildings and industry are concentrated, is connected by bridge with the western part ("Bai Chay"), considered to be the place of tourism animation.

There are several good quality hotels in Halong city and plenty of budget accommodation, two hospitals and several private medical centers.

In the south of the city there is Bai Tho (‘Poem’) Mountain with its almost vertical seaward face, which was widely used by some famous local poets. The limestone peak is rich in bio-diversity and offers attractive views of the bay. There are also such places of interest as Cua Van Fishing Village, Hoang Gia Park, Ha Long Market, Bai Chay Trading Center, Quang Ninh Museum, Vietnam-Japan Cultural House, Children's Cultural House.

Halong city has an active Roman Catholic Church in its eastern part ("Hon Gay") on the hill near the main post office, which holds the services on Sunday evenings and on Christian holidays.

The biggest hotel in Vietnam is planned to be built on the bay, beginning from 2007.

-- And the last, Ha Noi capital. This is famous for war anti USA army.
